| Cawthorne SE283082 (1*) Suitable for All Sent in by John Walton (07/02/2014)
'This ford on the Tanyard Beck is found on the bridleway to the cricket ground at Cawthorne.'
|

| Gunthwaite SE244063 (1*) Irish Bridge Sent in by Martin Bailey (04/04/2006)
'Since my last visit the council has raised the level of the road slightly and improved drainage. I will drive back there after heavy rains to see if the water still crosses the road, since the road is only slightly higher than the waterlogged land which surrounds the stream.
As you can see from the image the road surface is pristine and suitable for vehicles.'

| Hill Top SK310846 (1*) Off-Roaders Only! Sent in by Chris Marsh (06/04/2010)
'In Sheffield suburbia. Only a tiddler but full time and quite picturesque. On a Byway Open to All Traffic, just passable by car but with care.'

| Low Bradfield SK262920 (2*) Off-Roaders Only! Sent in by Chris Marsh
'On a road called "The Sands" at Low Bradfield, though about 100m of approach road is unmetalled. Unsuitable for motors signs at both ends, but I think there may be some overlap with a definitive footpath so it may need status checking with Sheffield Council.'
More info from Paul Berry
'I can confirm the road is also a footpath along its unmetalled length. It fords the stream at a bend; the flagstoned footpath continues straight on along the terraced west bank of the stream, whereas the rough-surfaced road curves away to the right.
It was overgrown, and the water level was low, so it was difficult to imagine the scene when the stream is in full flow.'

| Nether End (x2!) SE257073 (1*) Off-Roaders Only! SE257073 (1*) Off-Roaders Only! Sent in by Mark Limbert (05/08/2004)
'These two fords are probably more suited to 4x4s, but I got through both of them in my Golf on what was a relatively dry day. Its a bit short of turning space though. They are just to the left off Coach Gate Lane and the second one has a footbridge.'
|

| Penistone SE228032 (2*) Off-Roaders Only! Sent in by Chris Marsh
'Leapings Lane, Penistone, is a concrete road, and about a foot deep with a loose stone base. Once again, only on a semi green lane.'
Info from Mark Manning:
'I crossed the ford both ways in a disco with tow bar, no problems on the north side if you keep to the right hand side coming out or the left hand side going in, the northern approach is twice as steep but half the length of the south approach which is very muddy. the ford is used by a local farmer judging by the tracks isn't mud.'
|

| Thorpe Hesley SK386966 (1*) Irish Bridge Sent in by Richard Whitham (08/12/2009)
'It is basically an Irish Bridge which floods to between 2-3" during prolonged rain. Therefore doesn't cause any problems '
|

| Whiteley Woods SK313852 (2*) Restricted Access Sent in by Paul Berry and Mark Limbert (01/06/2004)
'It's a concrete-bottomed ford about 7 feet long and up to a foot deep. There are stepping stones on the north side for pedestrians but horse riders and cyclists have to splash through! It's a bridleway but would be navigable by motor vehicles except for the fact that the entrance is blocked by big stones!'
